City Essentials
- City Hall: Located at 411 Lombard Street, we’re open Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Emergency Services: Dial 911 for police, fire, or medical emergencies. For non-emergencies, call the Cedar County Law Enforcement Center at 563-886-2121.
Monthly City Council Meetings
The City Council meets every second Monday at 6:15 PM at City Hall. Your participation is always welcome!
Utility Services
- City utility bills include water, sewer, recycling, and solid waste services.
- Billing Cycle: Bills are mailed by the first of each month, with payments due by the 20th.
- Garbage Pickup: Weekly on Wednesdays.
- Recycling: Every other Tuesday.
- Changes due to holidays or emergencies are posted on our City Calendar.
- For electricity and gas, contact Alliant Energy at 800-822-4348.
- For telephone, cable TV, and internet services, reach out to the Clarence Telephone Company at 563-452-3852.
- Before starting any digging projects, always call Iowa One Call at 800-292-8989 or dial 811 to ensure safety and compliance with state regulations.
